The film that Marcelo and I worked on last year is coming out later this month. Marcelo just sent me this link and really excited for its release in Brasil. Was a fun project and Marcelo and Mallu took great care of me while i visited their beautiful country. I really wanna go back. Here is a brief description and overview of the film .

The movie that you watch on this site and made from images of two films from DVD sultriness, which will be available in stores from the day may 21, 2013. Not all of these songs or pictures are on the dvd, since it is a editing made only to internet. Did I, Fernanda Krumel and Felipe ThomThome under images and sounds that were captured for over a year for me, by Jack Coleman, by Rodrigo Pesavento and his team of Zeppelin and by my friends who eventually were close by.

Got some photos coming in from Process out here on the road. I brought no digital camera this trip.

Here is Taylor Steele N I. We had a couple days to hang out a little – It was sweet to talk film with Taylor and just pick his brain a bit. He was such a frothy surfer too, out there every day. It was also very refreshing how he told me of his escape from the states nearly 10 years ago now. He has since that time, started raising his family in Bali, then took the tribe to where they have now landed – here in Byron Bay Australia. Yeah Taylor.

So my tour here in australia continues and I have been shooting an occasional photo here and there.

What are the chances you get a photo back that has your two favourite surfers in the world in the same exposure?

Well, this just happened to me in this photo & it was not planned.

THe photo above is two back to back photos on the same roll of film. Earlier that day i got this picture of legend Derek Hynd in his Kingswood backing out of the driveway. After my Hynd encounter and photo, I went surfing at the pass and saw Rasta reading a book in the trees. Got 2 photos of him, and one of them is in this exposure. If you look hard enough into the image, you can find Rasta somewhere near Dereks back.

Not sure if it was scanned together, or if it was a double exposure. Need to check the negative. Either way, it was weirdly awesome that it happened at all. To me -THE – 2 most interesting guys in surfing today.

What are the chances of that happening? Ive just asked myself. Wow. I know this trip has been special. Dejavu all around me. It feels ilke Universe.

As this trip comes to an end this week in Byron Bay – I search of film from these two men – & the ROOKIE – in this picture below. Byron, I will return.
