went and watched a bit of Tulips practice. THey’ve got some touring coming up, and NY they play at the Polyester screening.

A date has been set for the screening of Polyester. It will be on Tuesday August 30, at the SOho House 29-35 ninth avenue NY, NY 10014 @ 8pmishishish. Yew! Also, a private private ultra exclusive screening somewhere in NY after that date. Ill keep you posted.

Gotta a chance to meet and hang with one of surfings true charactors, Ozzie Wright. SNapped a picture of him after i showed him a rough cut of Polyester – he likes crappy pictures. We even started shooting film for my next surf flick. So stoked to have Ozzie in on the film, who doesnt love this guy and his surfing!

Just got home from another trip into Mexico, the crew consisted of Al Knost, Ford Archbold, Tanner Prairie, and myself. We went to a desert island somewhere off the coast of baja and chased a steep southerly directed swell that wrapped its way into this island. It was everyones first time to the spot but myself, and we had it all to ourselves. Here is a few pictures from our strike.

THese were taken the 2nd day, the first day was pumping and i didnt get a chance to take any digital photos cause i was shooting film of the boys going off in super fun headhigh barrels. There is actually some photos that Al Knost took while Ford, Tanner and i were surfing on the final day. Knost had a blast behind the camera for about an hour and took some great digital photos. Al also brought an old polaroid and burned through 6 packs of film, mostly on roadside visuals and the strapping “male model/surfer” known as FOrd Archbold.

This trip marks the wrap to shooting for the film ‘Polyester’ thats gonna be out Sept. 2011. More photos and stories posted soon. Waiting for the film to be processed.
