Figured I should put out a trailer for the extra 28 minute movie that comes in the dvd for “POLYESTER”. Thought this summed it up pretty good-what the film looks and feels like.
Transparent is all the B-roll that didnt make it into the feature film. Had fun adding in some more of Alex’s friends like Andrew Doheny, Dane Reynolds, Chiz, and Levi Prairie.
Also, there is alot of playing with audio in this film. Like every minute or less it changes much like the trailer- super fun for me and was a great experiment in sound.
Locations where Transparent was filmed are: mainland mexico, baja, newport, sanO, Laguna Beach, Ventura, and some hand processed 16mm from Florida!
